No More Diapers!

Congratulations Kayla! You are officially potty trained....we are so proud of you!
Well, that's it, Kayla loves her panties. She is 2 years and 3 months old and potty trained. I am so excited. It has been a week with no accidents! Lets see....I have been buying diapers for the last 4 years, 8 months, and 18 days! But not anymore! and she learned a whole year earlier than her brother did! (Nick was 3 1/2 before he potty trained...I thought he was never going to get it! ) Poor Nick- we love you anyways! Now if we could only get Kayla to give up her "soo-soo"..........

Rain, rain, go away!

Man! When is it going to stop raining? It feels like rain is all I can remember....I don't feel like there is much to report since I last posted; I worked Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday night this past week. I'm sure that all you "5 day a weekers" are probably laughing at me, but I would much rather only work two nights a week. I took the kids to see "Over the Hedge" at the theatre Friday. It seemed like a good thing to do on a rainy afternoon. I recommend it to all who are thinking about going. Saturday night Brian and I went out on a date. We went out for dinner and then to the River Boat Casino. It didn't take long for us to start losing money so we left after about 45 minutes. Then on the way home I got caught speeding ( 83 in a 50 zone) and was issued a $195 speeding ticket! MY FIRST EVER! When all was said and done, the very nice police officer handed me a ticket that was crossed out with a big WARNING written on it; he said he figured we had given enough money to the government at the casino~all in all I guess we ended up saving money. Too lucky! I think I will put that one in a frame or something. Today we all slept in quite late. It was kind of nice. It was kind of a lazy day, just did some running around. Now Monday is just around the corner again......

Just hanging out watching TV. I hope they remember times like this.

Just Some Pics

Kayla actually went in the water. It's amazing!

Nick's favorite thing to do at the beach is find baby crabs!

Getting Started!

Well I now know at least 3 people who are blogging and I really enjoy reading them and catching up with their lives so I have decided to get started on my own! Anyone who knows us knows that our household is always a very noisey, very busy zoo! I hope to keep up to date with what is happening in our lives including pictures of our fast growing kids so that everyone-near or far- can feel close to us. Wish me luck.......
